Transport: Connecting Flights takes us to an airport—a crossroads of cultures, journeys, and destinies, where a microcosm of the globalized world unfolds. At first glance, it is a space of openness and freedom, where languages, traditions, colors, and races converge. Yet behind the gleaming terminal lie invisible borders, prejudices, and systemic flaws that reveal darker layers of contemporary society.
Over the past 30 years, air traffic has grown nearly 300%. Every second, over 10,000 planes carry around 1 million passengers, while aviation contributes 2–3% of global CO₂ emissions. The airport thus symbolizes both connectivity and the contradictions of globalization.
At the heart of the performance is the story of a refugee family forced to leave their home and seek safety in the unknown. The airport emerges as a space of hope and, simultaneously, of inescapability – a place of arrivals, departures, dreams, and expectations, where invisible borders, manifested through prejudice and institutional obstacles, become painfully tangible.
Transport: Connecting Flights does not offer simple answers; instead, it opens a space for reflection on humanity, refugee integration, European migration policies, and xenophobic tensions in contemporary society. The performance calls for responsibility and awareness, reminding us that through our actions – or our silence – we shape the world we live in. Does globalization truly erase borders and prejudices, or does it merely cloak them under a veil of political correctness?
Does globalisation truly reduce prejudice, or does it merely mask them under a veil of political correctness?

… Europe shares responsibility for global warming, whose consequences include climate disasters and migration. We must not see migration as a threat, but as a consequence for which we share a common responsibility! …

… Perfect, mature, proving that everyone can influence the fate of others and that no one is illegal. I fully recommend the performance. …

… Theatre has always been a laboratory of social change – a space where reflection is encouraged, key questions are raised, and answers are sought. With its storytelling power, it not only reflects reality but also reshapes it, fosters dialogue, and offers new perspectives. …
